As per recent announcements from the Marseille club website, Saber Khlifa is set to sign with Marseille. The agreement has been reached with all parties involved in the transfer. However, the deal includes a loan of a player in the opposite direction to Evian Thonon Gaillard.
It’s reported that Senegalese player Modou Sougou will be the one going to Evian Thonon Gaillard on loan as part of the transaction. Marseille has made this decision, likely in consideration of ensuring playing time for Sougou during the upcoming season.
The official confirmation of this transfer and loan arrangement is expected once Saber Khlifa successfully undergoes a medical examination in Marseille at the end of the week, as mentioned on the club website.
