Following the failure of the transfer deal involving Algerian player Ishak Belfodil, QPR shifted their focus to Malian striker Modibo Maïga.
The former West Ham forward has completed a loan move to the English Championship club.
QPR announced the signing via Twitter on Deadline Day, January 31, 2014, welcoming Modibo Maïga to the team.
At 26 years old, Maïga, who is contracted with West Ham until June 2016, has previously played for Le Mans and Sochaux.
In his statement, Maïga expressed his enthusiasm for the new opportunity, stating, “It is an exciting new chapter for me. I am here to play games and score goals.”
