Zamalek SC coach Moataz Gamal has given his players a day off from group training following their return from Zambia.
The team is set to resume sessions on Tuesday at the Military Academy Stadium as they prepare for their upcoming Egyptian Premier League clash against Smouha.
Zamalek’s squad arrived in Cairo on Monday morning after completing their fifth-round Confederation Cup group stage match against Zesco United in Zambia, a game they lost 1-0.
The loss leave Zamalek at the 2nd position in Group D with 8 points.
Zamalek will now prepare for their Egyptian top-flight league game against Smouha on Wednesday with kick off scheduled at 18:00 GMT.
