AS Monaco have confirmed the signing of Moatasem Al-Musrati, with the Libyan international defensive midfielder joining the French club from Turkish side Beşiktaş.
The 28-year-old has arrived on loan until the end of the current season, with an option for Monaco to make the move permanent.
Al-Musrati, who began his career at Al-Ittihad Tripoli in his native Libya, made a significant step in his development with a move to Portuguese club Vitória Guimarães.
His performances in Portugal helped him secure a move to Beşiktaş, where he continued to build his reputation as a reliable defensive midfielder.
Now, Al-Musrati embarks on a new chapter in his career as he joins Monaco in Ligue 1.

The Libyan international is expected to play a key role in Monaco’s ambitions, with the option to make his stay permanent if he impresses during his loan spell.
