MLS Eastern Conference Final Set: New York Red Bulls vs. New England Revolution
Peguy Luyindula and the New York Red Bulls have advanced to the MLS Eastern Conference Finals, where they will take on the in-form New England Revolution.
New England sealed their place in the final with a 3-1 home win over Columbus Crew, completing a dominant 7-3 aggregate victory. The Crew finished the match with nine men, compounding their frustration after also falling 4-2 in the first leg.
Led by former Sochaux striker Charlie Davies, the Revolution now face a high-stakes clash against a Red Bulls side featuring the likes of Thierry Henry and Luyindula, both of whom have played pivotal roles in New York’s postseason push.
