CAF has unveiled the best XI for the 2024 Women’s Champions League, highlighting the tournament’s standout performers. Miracle Usani of Edo Queens earned a spot among the elite, as TP Mazembe and FC Masar dominated the lineup with four players each.
The CAF Technical Study Group (TSG) selected the team based on players’ contributions throughout the competition.
Champions TP Mazembe had significant representation, including forwards Lacho Marta and Merveille Kanjinga.
Doha El Madani of AS FAR, the tournament’s top scorer, completed the attacking trio.
The midfield included TP Mazembe’s Marline Kasaj, AS FAR’s Sanaa Mssoudy, and Sandrine Nyonkuru of FC Masar, all recognized for their creativity and game-changing performances.
Defensively, Miracle Usani excelled on the flanks alongside FC Masar’s Shadia Nankya and Aisha Nantongo, while Vukulu Belange represented TP Mazembe.
FC Masar goalkeeper Habiba Emad Sabry, named Best Goalkeeper of the tournament, completed the lineup, underscoring her key role in her team’s campaign.
