Minnesota United are planning to make a huge offer for the acquisition of Orlando Pirates wonderkid, Relebohile Mofokeng in the current summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old attacker has become one of the most sought-after players this summer, with the Major League Soccer outfit joining the race for the signing of the winger.
Mofokeng delivered an outstanding performance last season, earning him a place in the South African national team. Since his debut, he has racked up 9 appearances for the Bafana Bafana.
Minnesota United, who are poised to snap up the in-demand winger has reportedly submitted an offer in the region of 2 million euros plus additional bonuses for the signing of the highly-rated forward.
Negotiation for the transfer of the South African international is currently ongoing. However, the 20-year-old could secure a move to the MLS provided an agreement is reached between both clubs.
Mofokeng’s compatriot Bongokuhle Hlongwane is currently in the books of Minnesota, having arrived at the club in 2022 from Maritzburg United. This could be a decisive factor in Mofokeng’s decision-making process.
