Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic has been appointed as the new coach of the Uganda national football team. The Serbian coach signed a 2-year contract with the Uganda Football Federation (FUFA). Micho is familiar with Uganda, having previously coached the Villa club in the country in 2001. He expressed his happiness at returning to Uganda, where he started his coaching career. Micho takes over from Bobby Williamson, the Scotsman who was relieved of his duties as Uganda’s coach last month. Sam Timbe and Fred Kajoba will serve as his assistants.
