Milford FC sign prolific striker Masilela ahead of daunting Orlando Pirates debut

Newly-promoted Milford FC have strengthened their attack with the signing of highly-rated Bees striker Sicelo “Serero” Masilela, as they prepare for a tough first-ever Betway Premiership fixture away to reigning champions Orlando Pirates.

The club’s team manager, Sipetuxolo Pupuma, confirmed the deal to Soccer Laduma but declined to disclose the finer details of the agreement.

“Yes, we have signed him, but the length of the contract is between the club and the player and I can’t reveal that,” Pupuma confirmed.

The move underlines Milford’s intent to be competitive in South Africa’s top flight after winning promotion via the play-offs.
