Milan plan Alfadjo Cisse contract talks after impressive start to season

Milan are considering offering Alfadjo Cisse a new contract after the teenager’s impressive performances since the start of the season.

The 19-year-old became the youngest Italian player in history to score a hat-trick in a European competition when he found the net three times against Austrian side Salzburg.

Cisse has scored five goals for Milan this season under Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim, further strengthening the club’s desire to secure his long-term future.

According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan want to extend the young forward’s current agreement, which runs until 2030.

Cisse’s existing deal earns him €800,000 per year. Milan are aiming to reach an agreement on an extension before the end of 2026 and are expected to meet the player’s agents next week to begin negotiations.

The club’s intention is to secure the teenager’s position at Milan after his rapid progress during the opening part of the campaign.

Cisse joined Milan in January from Hellas Verona, having spent the second half of last season on loan at Serie B side Catanzaro.

He scored six goals in 22 appearances for Catanzaro during that spell before returning to Milan and making an impact under Amorim.
