Milan begin Serie A campaign with 2-1 win over Torino
Milan opened their Serie A campaign with a 2-1 victory against Torino, securing an important three points after a lively finish to the match.
Adrien Rabiot and Alfadjo Cisse scored for Milan, while Torino’s only goal came from Che Adams in the final minute.
The breakthrough arrived in the 64th minute when Cisse found the net with a well-struck effort following a pass from Rabiot. Milan then doubled their advantage just two minutes later, with Rabiot finishing from a move created by Samuel Chukwueze.
Torino refused to give up and reduced the deficit in the closing stages. Adams produced an impressive overhead kick in the final minute after Gvidas Gineitis delivered a cross, giving the home side hope of salvaging a result.
However, Milan held on to begin their league campaign with a valuable victory. The result gives them an early boost as they look ahead to their next Serie A fixture.
