Michy Batshuayi, the 20-year-old Belgian striker who has been performing exceptionally well with Standard Liège, is reportedly attracting interest from Serie A clubs. According to reports from TMW, as relayed by Transfer Window365, both Lazio Rome and AS Roma have shown interest in the young player of Congolese origin (DRC).
Batshuayi, a Belgian international at the U21 level, has been in the spotlight since the beginning of the season. Despite being under contract with Standard Liège until June 2018, the club leading the Jupiler Pro League, there are indications that his potential move to Serie A could materialize in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Standard Liège, however, appears to be firm in their stance, demanding a transfer fee of at least seven million euros to consider the departure of the talented striker. Batshuayi has notably scored eight goals in the league this season, making him a sought-after prospect in the transfer market.
