Michael Olise has been named the most well-rounded attacker in world football, topping the latest ranking by the CIES Football Observatory.
The Bayern Munich star leads the list with 88.5 points, edging out Barcelona’s rising sensation Lamine Yamal (87.7) and Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz (85.0).
Olise’s standout performances for Bayern have set him apart, surpassing some of the biggest young talents in the game. His ranking also places him ahead of Real Madrid’s Vinícius Júnior and PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé, who round out the top five.
Notably, aside from Olise and Wirtz, no other Bundesliga player cracks the top ten. The CIES index evaluates attackers based on a variety of performance metrics from domestic league matches, emphasizing versatility and overall impact.
So far this season, Olise has featured in 25 Bundesliga games, finding the net eight times and providing seven assists. His contributions have cemented his status as one of the most complete attacking players in the game today.
