Michael Olise and Nordi Mukiele battle for Bundesliga March honor

Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise and Bayer Leverkusen’s Nordi Mukiele are among the top contenders vying for the Bundesliga Player of the Month award for March, sparking excitement across the league.

The Bundesliga, alongside EA Sports, unveiled the six nominees on Wednesday, April 9, highlighting a thrilling mix of talent in the running for the prestigious title.

The shortlist features Michael Olise (Bayern Munich), Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund), Nadiem Amiri (Mainz), Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig), Robin Hack (Borussia Mönchengladbach), and Nordi Mukiele (Bayer Leverkusen). Fans now have the chance to cast their votes and decide who will claim the crown for March’s standout performer.

This season, African stars have shone brightly in the 2024/25 campaign, with the award previously going to Omar Marmoush of Eintracht Frankfurt in September and November 2024, followed by Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy in February 2025.

As the competition heats up, Olise and Mukiele aim to etch their names into the league’s history.
