Lionel Messi’s cousins, Maxi and Emanuel Biancucchi, joined EC Bahia, a Brazilian first division club. Maxi, a 29-year-old midfielder, previously played at Vitoria, while his brother Emanuel, 23, played for Olimpia de Paraguay last season. Lionel Messi, who recently returned from a thigh injury, celebrated his cousins’ move to EC Bahia with joy. Messi played for FC Barcelona in a Copa del Rey match against Getafe, scoring two goals in the 90th minute and marking a successful comeback.
