Ishak Belfodil’s potential move to Queens Park Rangers during the winter transfer window has hit a roadblock. Despite efforts to revive the Algerian international’s transfer to the London club, an agreement could not be reached between the two parties.
Harry Redknapp, the manager of Queens Park Rangers, confirmed today that Belfodil would not be joining the club this winter. He stated, “We are going to try to bring in two attackers on loan, we’re not going to spend a lot of money. The Belfodil deal collapsed yesterday. It’s dead.”
With the 2014 World Cup on the horizon, Belfodil is eager to secure playing time to enhance his chances of representing Algeria in Brazil. However, it seems that he will not be making the move to QPR. Despite being in London for a medical examination ahead of a potential transfer, the player will now remain with Inter.
