Florent Malouda, who has been sidelined by Chelsea this season, not playing a single match with the first team, is reportedly considering a move to Olympique de Marseille. The Marseille leadership is keen on recruiting players with experience in Ligue 1 for a stronger performance in the Champions League. If the transfer happens, Malouda may contemplate returning to Chelsea after the World Cup. Ivory Coast international Gervinho is also on Marseille’s radar, but Arsene Wenger is reluctant to let him go from Arsenal. A meeting between Gervinho’s advisor and Marseille officials is planned.
