After completing three seasons with Evian-Thonon-Gaillard in Haut-Savoie, Yannick Sagbo is contemplating a move elsewhere. The Franco-Ivorian striker is set to depart from Evian-Thonon-Gaillard in the upcoming summer transfer window. In an interview with RMC, the 25-year-old forward expressed his desire to join Olympique de Marseille.
Sagbo stated, “I have desires elsewhere, but I hope to leave on good terms with Evian. I want to leave.” While expressing a fondness for England, he emphasized that spending two more years in France before considering moves to England or Germany would be better for his career. Being a native of Marseille, Sagbo added that playing for Olympique de Marseille would be a dream come true.
The Ivorian forward believes that his time with the Savoyard club has come to an end. However, before any potential departure in the upcoming transfer market, Sagbo is focused on the remaining matches in Ligue 1 and the final of the Coupe de France. With three matches left, Evian-Thonon-Gaillard is currently fighting to secure their place in the top tier of French football.
