Olympique Lyonnais (OL) is reportedly considering the possibility of signing Ivorian striker Gervinho from Arsenal, with club president Michel Aulas having already dispatched emissaries to Emirates Stadium for information. While Gervinho has been linked to moves to Fenerbahçe or Galatasaray, the potential for a return to Ligue 1 via a loan deal is being explored. However, the main obstacle lies in OL’s challenge to meet the salary demands of the Premier League. Other French clubs, including Marseille, are also expressing interest in bringing Gervinho back to Ligue 1. The 25-year-old Ivorian has made 18 appearances, including 6 as a substitute, for Arsenal this season.
