Gary Coulibaly has terminated his contract with AS Monaco, according to an announcement on the club’s official website. The Malian defensive midfielder had a contract with Monaco until June 2016. Coulibaly, who joined Monaco in August 2011, has not played for the club since February 18, 2013. The termination of his contract is set to be effective on Monday. Coulibaly is reportedly interested in playing in England, having been linked with Blackburn and Sheffield Wednesday last summer.
