Jupiler Pro League club OH Leuven is at risk of losing its top scorer from the previous season, German striker of Gambian origin Ibou Sawaneh. Bayer Leverkusen has shown interest in the player, and their coach, Sami Hyypia, confirmed the club’s admiration for Sawaneh, stating that he is very good and interests them. However, to secure the services of the striker, Bayer Leverkusen would need to pay a sum of 1.5 million euros. Sawaneh is currently under contract with OH Leuven until 2015. The 26-year-old striker scored an impressive 19 goals in 34 Jupiler Pro League matches for OH Leuven in the last season.
