Nicolas Goka, a 23-year-old Ghanaian player, was reported to be undergoing trials with both Lyon (OL) and Saint-Étienne (ASSE). Goka, a defensive midfielder, mentioned that he would be collecting his visa to travel to Lyon and Saint-Étienne for the tests. At the time of the report, he did not have an agent as his contract with Al Mansourah in the Egyptian Lower Division had expired. Both Lyon and Saint-Étienne were said to be interested in securing his services.
