Omar Mensoul, the Technical Director of the Algerian Football Federation, affirmed on Monday that his committee would strive to uplift Algerian football.
Algerian news agencies reported Mensoul’s statements during a press conference held at the National Center for the Preparation of National Teams in Sidi Moussa.
He disclosed, “The National Technical Committee for the national teams will not be limited to a consultative role only.”
Mensoul added, “The national committee will be a committee of experts and a proposing force that will present all ideas and concepts that will enrich the minds of experts through mini-committees, each specializing in a specific axis.”
He emphasized, “Proposals will be formulated to be presented to the federal bureau for approval and documentation to be adopted as solutions in the sports project.”
“We cannot reach solutions without the expertise of former international players and experts who possess both field experience and academic knowledge for the betterment of national football,” Mensoul continued.
The spokesperson stated, “The door will be open to them to enrich the football scene, not to mention the work of the members of the National Committee whose qualifications, tasks, and functions are defined by law.”
Mensoul clarified, “The National Technical Committee includes regional technical directors, provincial technical directors, coaches of various national teams, methodological directors in the National Technical Directorate, and technical sports directors of professional clubs.”
Concluding his remarks, Mensoul regarded the National Technical Committee of the Algerian Football Federation as a significant asset to local football.
