Mehdi Nasfi: Tunisia midfielder joins CS Redeyef as a free agent

Tunisia midfielder Mehdi Nasfi has joined CS Redeyef after leaving the ranks of unattached players, completing his move to the Tunisian club on 8 September 2026.

The 24-year-old central midfielder arrives at Croissant Sportif Redeyef following his departure from AS Gabes, where he had spent the previous part of his career. Nasfi’s switch was recorded at the start of the 2026-27 season.

Nasfi made three appearances in Ligue 1 and three more in the Tunisian Cup during his recorded senior career. He played 88 minutes in the league and 137 minutes in the cup, operating in a central midfield role.

A right-footed player, Nasfi began his most recent spell with AS Gabes after joining them from WS Hamma in February 2023. He left AS Gabes in July 2025 and subsequently spent time without a club before agreeing his move to CS Redeyef.

His earlier career included a spell at WS Hamma, which he joined from ES Zarzis in October 2021. He had also been registered with AS Gabes before that move, giving him experience across several Tunisian clubs.

Nasfi now adds another midfield option to CS Redeyef’s squad as the club begins the new campaign. His arrival also marks a return to competitive football after more than a year away from a club following his departure from AS Gabes.

The midfielder’s new club is listed as CS Redeyef, while his full footballing affiliation is Croissant Sportif Redeyef. He represents Tunisia at nationality level and has a preferred position in the centre of midfield.

Nasfi’s transfer was completed on 8 September 2026.
