Mehdi Maghzaoui: French-Algerian striker joins US Tataouine on free transfer

French-Algerian striker Mehdi Maghzaoui has joined US Tataouine from Stade Tunisien on a free transfer, signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2028.

The 21-year-old completed the move on 8 September 2026, bringing his time with Stade Tunisien to an end after just over a year. Maghzaoui had joined the Tunisian club from French side USM Endoume in July 2025, also on a free transfer.

Maghzaoui began his senior career with USM Endoume after leaving SC Air Bel Under-19s in July 2024. His move to US Tataouine represents his third senior club change since stepping up from youth football.

The forward is listed as a striker and holds French and Algerian nationality. He joins US Tataouine at the start of the 2026-27 campaign, with his new contract securing his stay at the club through the end of June 2028.

His previous club, Stade Tunisien, competes in Ligue 1, while Maghzaoui’s transfer takes him to US Tataouine under a new agreement lasting two seasons beyond the current campaign. The deal carries no transfer fee.

Maghzaoui has now completed his switch from Stade Tunisien to US Tataouine, becoming the latest step in the young forward’s senior career.
