French-Algerian attacking midfielder Medhi Kadi has joined ASC Biesheim on a free transfer from ES Cannet. The 31-year-old left-footer moves after two seasons in the south of France and links up with his new club ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Kadi, born in Tarare and standing at 1.75m, arrives with extensive experience across the French lower divisions. Operating primarily as an attacking midfielder, he has built a reputation for contributing regularly in the final third, with double-figure goal returns in more than one campaign at National level.

Before his switch to Biesheim, Kadi had joined ES Cannet in 2024, also on a free transfer, after a spell with Pays de Grasse. His career has seen a series of moves within French football, including stints at Cannes, FC Annecy and Jura Sud, following earlier years at Bourg-en-Bresse and ESTAC Troyes set-up.

Across league and cup competitions, Kadi has accumulated more than 200 senior appearances, featuring in National 1, National 2, National 3 and the Coupe de France. He has had standout spells in National 1 Group B and National 2 Group H, where he recorded prolific goal returns for a midfielder, underlining his attacking impact from deeper positions.

ASC Biesheim will look to draw on that experience and productivity as Kadi embarks on the next stage of a career spent entirely in French football. The move is a permanent free transfer, completed on 9 July 2026.
