McDonald Mariga Returns to Parma on One-Year Deal
Kenyan midfielder McDonald Mariga has rejoined Italian side Parma, signing a one-year contract with an option for a two-year extension, the club has confirmed.
The 27-year-old joins Parma as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Inter Milan. This marks Mariga’s third spell at the Serie A club, having previously represented Parma from 2007 to 2010 and again during the 2012-2013 season.
Mariga’s return is seen as a boost to Parma’s midfield options as the club looks to build a competitive squad. The midfielder will be hoping to revive his career and make a significant impact under the management at the club where he has already enjoyed two separate stints.
