Hakim Hadj Rejam, Chairman of the Board at MC Alger, has expressed his bewilderment over the persistent rumors surrounding his club during the summer transfer window.
Speculation has been rife on social media, with a Facebook page citing Saudi newspaper Al-Youm, claiming that Algerian international goalkeeper Mustapha Zeghba is in advanced negotiations with MC Alger following the end of his contract with Saudi club Damac FC.
According to these sources, the only point of contention in the negotiations is financial. Mouloudia Algiers has reportedly offered Zeghba a monthly salary of 8.5 million centimes, while the goalkeeper is demanding 11 million centimes.
In response to these rumors, Hadj Rejam took to Instagram, resharing the post via his story feature and simply captioning it, “No comment.”
