Mbaye Seck: Senegal midfielder joins AC Leon on free transfer from Brusaporto
Senegalese midfielder Mbaye Seck has joined AC Leon on a free transfer from fellow Serie D side Brusaporto. The 27-year-old central midfielder has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 with the Lombardy club.
Seck makes the move within Serie D – Group B after three seasons at Brusaporto across two separate spells, having re-signed for them in 2023, also on a free transfer. His switch to AC Leon comes with his market value currently assessed at around €125,000.
Born in Dakar and left-footed, Seck brings significant experience of Italian lower-league football to his new side. He has made more than 225 appearances in Serie D Group B alone, scoring 29 goals and contributing nine assists, while also featuring in Serie D and Serie C cup competitions and play-offs.
Before his latest spell at Brusaporto, Seck spent two years with Villa Valle following an initial move from Brusaporto in 2021. Earlier in his career he was on the books of Atalanta and gained Serie C experience during a loan at Giana Erminio.
Seck’s arrival adds depth in central midfield for AC Leon as they prepare for the new Serie D campaign. The move is a permanent transfer following the expiry of his deal with Brusaporto.
