Mbappe reaches 100 Real Madrid goal contributions with Sociedad hat-trick

Kylian Mbappe has recorded 100 goal contributions for Real Madrid after scoring a hat-trick in their 4-1 win over Real Sociedad in La Liga.

The France forward reached the milestone in his 105th appearance for the club, with 89 goals and 11 assists since joining Real Madrid. The victory came on Wednesday in the second round of the Spanish league season and continued Mbappe’s impressive start to the campaign.

According to statistics provider Squawka, only Cristiano Ronaldo reached 100 goal contributions for Real Madrid in fewer matches. Ronaldo achieved the landmark in 86 games, scoring 79 goals and providing 21 assists during his first appearances for the club.

Mbappe’s three goals against Real Sociedad took him to the latest landmark in a Real Madrid career that began in August 2024. His performance also underlined the attacking impact he has made in La Liga, where he leads several major statistical categories.

The France international is first for touches inside opponents’ penalty areas, with 657. He also tops the standings for total shots, with 325, and shots on target, with 158.

Mbappe leads the league for goal contributions, with 67, and goals, with 59. He has also scored the most hat-tricks, with six.

The figures highlight the scale of Mbappe’s contribution to Real Madrid since his arrival. His total of 100 goal contributions has come from 89 goals and 11 assists over 105 matches, leaving him second only to Ronaldo in the club’s history for the speed with which he reached that mark.

Ronaldo, who currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, remains the quickest Real Madrid player to record 100 goal contributions. His total was reached after 86 matches, made up of 79 goals and 21 assists.

Mbappe’s latest achievement came during a match in which Real Madrid scored four times against Real Sociedad, with the forward responsible for three of those goals. The result allowed him to maintain the strong momentum of the opening stages of the season while further extending his lead across a series of La Liga attacking statistics.
