Mbappe and Vinicius lead Real Madrid attack against Real Sociedad

Real Madrid have named their starting XI for the postponed La Liga fixture against Real Sociedad at Santiago Bernabeu, with manager Jose Mourinho making four changes to his side for the meeting in the Spanish capital.

Andriy Lunin, Mestrei, Eduardo Camavinga, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Marc Cucurella, Espi, Brahim Diaz, Antonio Rudiger, Yan Diomande, Cestero, Mario Rivas and Alexis Ciria are all available to Mourinho should he decide to make changes during the game.

Courtois therefore retains his place as Real Madrid’s starting goalkeeper, while the defence includes Dumfries, Konate, Huijsen and Carreras. The midfield selection brings together Silva, Valverde, Guler and Bellingham, before the familiar attacking partnership of Vinicius Junior and Mbappe.

Real Sociedad will attempt to put their defeat by Real Betis behind them as they face a Real Madrid team buoyed by its positive start against Espanyol. The fixture provides the home side with an opportunity to build on that result, while the visitors will be seeking their first response of the campaign.
