Mbappe and Raphinha shortlisted for La Liga’s September Player of the Month award

Kylian Mbappe and Raphinha are among the nominees for La Liga’s Player of the Month award for September.

The league announced the shortlist, with Barcelona forward Raphinha leading the nominations after an outstanding month in which he scored seven goals and provided two assists.

Real Madrid’s leading scorer Mbappe is also in contention. The France international scored three times and set up two goals during September.

Atletico Madrid’s new striker Jonathan David has been nominated after contributing three goals and one assist during the month.

Rayo Vallecano forward Sergio Camello is another contender. He scored four goals and created one more for his team in September.

Elche’s leading scorer Ver Nino completes the shortlist after scoring four goals during the month.
