Mbappe adds Racing Santander to his growing list of La Liga victims

Kylian Mbappe scored against Racing Santander to maintain his perfect record against every opponent he has faced in La Liga since joining Real Madrid.

The France forward opened the scoring as Real Madrid led 3-0 at half-time in the league meeting with Racing Santander.

According to Marca, Mbappe began the match targeting Racing Santander as the 24th different opponent of his La Liga career. He duly found the net to ensure the club became the latest addition to his extensive list of victims.

The goal came from the penalty spot after the referee awarded Real Madrid a spot-kick in a decision that prompted considerable debate. Mbappe took responsibility and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way with a firmly struck finish to put Real Madrid 1-0 ahead.

The strike preserved a remarkable 100% scoring record against the La Liga teams he has faced. Mbappe had already moved closer to completing that record by scoring against Malaga and Elche earlier in the campaign.

He now has 68 goals for Real Madrid in 76 La Liga appearances.

The fixture information surrounding Real Madrid also listed a Champions League match against AEK Athens on 04 November 2026, followed by a La Liga meeting with Malaga on 07 November 2026.
