Maxime Sivis: French-Congolese right-back joins Orenburg from Dinamo in €700k deal
Orenburg have signed French-Congolese defender Maxime Sivis from Romanian side Dinamo in a €700,000 transfer. The 28-year-old right-back moves to the Russian Premier Liga after establishing himself in the SuperLiga with the Bucharest club.
Sivis, who is eligible to represent both France and DR Congo, leaves Dinamo with his market valuation matching the fee paid by Orenburg. The deal sees the Russian club invest in a specialist right-back as they reshape their squad for the upcoming campaign.
Comfortable in the defensive line and operating primarily on the right flank, Sivis heads to Russia on the back of his spell in Romania’s top flight. His performances there have helped raise his profile, with his current value set at €700,000 at the time of the move.
The transfer marks the latest step in Sivis’s career as he swaps the Romanian SuperLiga for a new challenge in the Russian Premier Liga. Orenburg will look to integrate the defender quickly as they build towards the new season.
Sivis’s switch from Dinamo to Orenburg was completed on 24 July 2026 for a reported fee of €700,000.
