Maxime Sivis: French-Congolese FC Dinamo right-back linked with move to Orenburg

France-DR Congo defender Maxime Sivis, currently at FC Dinamo, has been linked with a move to Russian Premier Liga side Orenburg as the SuperLiga season gets under way.

The 28-year-old right-back, who was born in Cholet and represents both France and DR Congo at nationality level, is under contract with Dinamo until 30 June 2028 but is attracting interest after establishing himself immediately in Romania. Sivis has started Dinamo’s opening SuperLiga fixture of the 2026-27 campaign, playing the full 90 minutes and picking up a yellow card in his only appearance so far.

Orenburg’s interest comes with Sivis valued at around €700,000, a figure that would represent a profit for Dinamo two years before the end of his deal. The defender joined the Bucharest club from Guingamp on a free transfer on 17 July 2024 and his market value has since been updated from a peak of €900,000 in 2024 to its current level.

Standing at 1.80m and operating primarily as a right-back, Sivis has built a steady career in French football before moving to Eastern Europe, with spells at clubs including Guingamp and Red Star. His ability to hold down a starting spot early in the new SuperLiga season has underlined his status within Dinamo’s squad.

No agreement has yet been reached between Dinamo and Orenburg, and Sivis remains under a long-term contract with the Romanian club, who are not under immediate pressure to sell.
