Mauro Icardi, the Argentine striker currently sidelined with a torn cruciate ligament, has made explosive allegations implicating his ex-wife, Wanda Nara, and Senegalese footballer Keita Baldé Diao.
In a lengthy social media post, the Galatasaray player accused Nara of infidelity, manipulation, and neglecting her responsibilities as a mother.
The couple, whose divorce was finalized last summer, has seen their relationship deteriorate in the public eye.
Among Icardi’s claims is that Nara had an affair with Keita Baldé during a trip to Dubai in January 2023. He alleged that Nara returned late to their son’s birthday party following the alleged rendezvous.
Icardi further accused Nara of prioritizing her relationship with Argentine rapper L-Gante over their two daughters.
He claimed that despite her assertions of a platonic friendship with the rapper, she traveled through Europe with him, leaving their children in his care.
“They were supposed to be returned to me on December 13, but she chose to travel instead,” he stated. According to Icardi, L-Gante admitted to being romantically involved with Nara while she was still married to him.
In recounting events from New Year’s Eve, Icardi claimed he canceled his plans to stay with their daughters.
“I have spent the past two years prioritizing my children, while Madame chooses her personal life over her family,” he wrote.
He also alleged that Nara manipulates their daughters to gain an advantage in custody disputes and to tarnish his reputation.
Icardi criticized Nara for not being honest with their children about the reasons for their separation.
He accused her of leading them to believe he was at fault for the breakup while allegedly engaging in an extramarital relationship for three years.
The striker ended his post by condemning what he described as Nara’s use of their daughters to justify her actions and manipulate public opinion.
His frustration with the ongoing public feud was evident, as he expressed his dismay over their private issues being repeatedly exposed to the public.
This latest chapter in the Icardi-Nara saga, now involving accusations against Keita Baldé, underscores the bitter nature of their split.
