Matteo Ahlinvi scores again as Benin midfielder reaches seven goals in Romania

Benin international Matteo Ahlinvi continued his impressive scoring form in Romania after finding the net in Farul Constanța’s 2-1 victory over FC Voluntari in the Romanian SuperLiga.

The midfielder scored his seventh goal of the season in the matchday 14 encounter, extending his remarkable run to four goals in his last four league appearances.

Ahlinvi was named in the starting line-up and completed the entire 90 minutes as Farul secured an important victory.

His goal arrived in the 24th minute when he attempted an effort from outside the penalty area. The strike took an unexpected direction, leaving FC Voluntari goalkeeper Jurhar unable to prevent the ball from entering the net.

The effort gave Farul a 2-0 advantage and further highlighted Ahlinvi’s growing influence in the team’s attacking play.

The Beninese midfielder has enjoyed an impressive campaign since the start of the season, establishing himself as an important figure in Farul’s midfield.

His latest contribution takes his tally to seven goals and one assist in 14 appearances for the Romanian club.

What makes his recent form particularly impressive is his consistency in front of goal. Ahlinvi has now scored four times in his last four league matches, underlining his ability to influence games from midfield.

His performances have attracted attention among football followers, with several observers praising his attacking qualities and contribution to Farul’s performances.

The midfielder’s ability to move forward, support attacking transitions and put pressure on opposing defences has become an important part of his game.

Some observers have even compared his style to that of England international Jude Bellingham, pointing to his energy, work rate and willingness to make attacking runs from midfield.

One social media reaction highlighted his performances under coach Ioan Ovidiu Sabău, describing him as a player with similarities to Bellingham because of his influence in attacking areas.

Ahlinvi’s latest goal adds to what has been a productive spell in Romanian football and further strengthens his growing reputation.

With seven goals and one assist already recorded in 14 matches, the Beninese international is producing impressive numbers for a midfielder.

His continued contribution will be important for Farul Constanța as they look to maintain their progress in the Romanian SuperLiga.

For Ahlinvi, maintaining this level of performance will be the priority as he looks to build on his impressive start to the campaign and continue making an impact in Romania.
