Mauritania and Togo played out a pulsating 2-2 draw in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The national teams of the two countries locked horns in Round 5 of the qualification games in Group B.
In the match played at Stade de Kegue in Lome, both national teams went into the game determined to secure a win to improve their chances of qualifying for next year’s World Cup.
However, neither side could secure all three points and had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
