Masutha joins The Bees FC after leaving Kruger United

Joel Masutha has joined The Bees FC after ending his spell as assistant coach at PSL side Kruger United.

The former Black Leopards goalkeeper is understood to have completed the move on Thursday and has already begun working with his new team.

Masutha’s departure from Kruger followed difficulties surrounding his weekly travel to his home in Venda to visit his family. Sources say the club’s management was unhappy with the arrangement, leading both parties to agree to an amicable separation.

The Bees FC have reportedly agreed to allow Masutha to return home each week to see his family.

“It is true. Coach Joel Masutha has arrived and is here. He started training the team today,” a source at The Bees said.

Masutha had been serving as assistant to Kruger United head coach Abram Mongoya before leaving the top-flight club.

The Bees FC are preparing to travel to the Mother City for their Motsepe Foundation Championship match against Cape Town City on Sunday at 15:30.

They currently sit 13th in the Motsepe Foundation Championship standings.
