Massire Sylla: AC Milan linked with Senegal defender at Union SG

Senegalese centre-back Massire Sylla is reportedly attracting interest from AC Milan, with the Union SG defender linked with a move to the Serie A club.

Sylla, 21, joined Union SG from Norwegian side Lyn in January 2026 and has established himself as a regular during his first full campaign in Belgium. He has started 90% of Union SG’s Jupiler Pro League matches this season, making nine appearances and recording one goal and one assist.

The right-footed defender has also started all three of the club’s Europa League matches, contributing one assist, while featuring in both Champions League qualifying games. He played a part in Union SG’s Belgian Cup triumph in 2026 and the club’s Belgian Super Cup victory in the 2026-27 season.

Sylla’s current market value is listed at €5m, while his contract with Union SG runs until 30 June 2030. The available details do not indicate whether AC Milan have made an offer or whether the clubs have opened negotiations.

His move to Union SG followed a spell with Lyn, where he arrived from Pau FC B in September 2024. Before that, he had been with Senegalese club Diambars FC, progressing from their under-20 side.

For now, Sylla remains a Union SG player, with the rumour placing him among the defenders linked with a possible move to Italy.
