Masar held by La Viena as Pharco join them at top of Professional League

Masar dropped points for the first time this season as a 1-1 draw with La Viena allowed Pharco to move level with them at the top of the Professional League.

Five matches were played on Friday to complete the competition’s fifth round, with both Masar and Pharco now on 13 points.

Masar had won their opening four matches before being held by La Viena. The draw took Masar’s tally to 13 points, while La Viena moved to three points.

Pharco came from their match with Mega Sport as 2-1 winners, lifting their total to 13 points. Mega Sport remain on two points after the defeat.

Financial Kafr El Zayat claimed a valuable 1-0 victory against Proxy to strengthen their position in the standings. The result moved Financial Kafr El Zayat to 11 points.

Baladiyat El Mahalla were beaten 1-0 by Kahraba Ismailia. Kahraba Ismailia’s win took them to 10 points, while Baladiyat El Mahalla stayed on four points.

Al-Sekka Al-Hadid also secured a 1-0 win, defeating WE to reach seven points. WE remain on nine points despite the loss.

El Entag El Harby recorded the day’s biggest victory, beating Dairut 3-0. The result lifted El Entag El Harby to six points and left Dairut without a point.
