Marumo Gallants triumphed over Golden Arrows to reach the final of the Carling Knockout Cup on Sunday, setting up a crucial tie against Orlando Pirates.

The much-anticipated, held at King Zwelithini Stadium saw Marumo Gallants defeating their opponent 4-2 on penalties following a 2-2 draw after extra-time.

Golden Arrows dominated the semi-final clash but was unable to secure victory in regulation time. Isaac Cisse and Ngubeko Dlamini scored for Arrows while Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Sekela Sithole scored for the Mangaung side.
