Marseille’s fourth signing, Tunisian player Saber Khlifa, has begun his physical preparations with the club. Khlifa, who scored a remarkable goal last season, stayed in Tunisia initially to address a family issue before joining his new teammates. Currently, he is training alone and was not eligible to play in the match against Guingamp on the first day of Ligue 1.
Due to his lack of match fitness, Tunisia’s coach Nabil Maaloul decided not to include him in the squad for the friendly match against Congo during the upcoming FIFA international window. Khlifa is expected to participate in his first collective training session with the Marseille team later this week.
