Togolese goalkeeper Cédric Mensah, playing for the Marseille reserve team, is out of danger after a major shock that required his evacuation to the hospital. Although he is now in stable condition, Mensah will be sidelined for at least three weeks due to the neck injury sustained during the match against Nice. The incident led to Mensah receiving a red card, and the match was temporarily halted for half an hour. Marseille eventually lost the game 2-0, with Stefan Popescu, a full-back, taking over as the goalkeeper in Mensah’s absence.
