Steve Mandanda has etched his name into the history of Olympique de Marseille by breaking a record more than 40 years old. During the 19th day of Ligue 1 against Bordeaux, the stalwart Marseille goalkeeper celebrated his 333rd appearance in the Marseille jersey, surpassing the record held by Jean-Paul Escale. Escale played for Marseille between 1960 and 1971. With this accomplishment, Mandanda became the most capped goalkeeper in the club’s history, showcasing his remarkable contribution to Olympique de Marseille over seven seasons.
