Marseille: Is Nkoulou on His Way Out?

**Nicolas Nkoulou Could Leave Marseille in January**

Olympique de Marseille has finally decided to let defender Nicolas Nkoulou depart, much to the interest of Olympique Lyonnais, who were keen on signing him during the last transfer window.

After rejecting several offers from Lyon in recent weeks, OM’s management now intends to negotiate a sale next January during the winter transfer window. President Vincent Labrune is determined not to let Nkoulou leave on a free transfer, as was the case with André Ayew.

Marseille’s target for the Cameroonian international is reportedly €5 million. The club hopes to reinvest the funds in acquiring a top-tier central defender or a striker capable of supporting Michy Batshuayi. Whether Lyon will reignite their interest remains to be seen.
