Habib Beye welcomes three assistants to Marseille bench

Marseille have strengthened their coaching team with the addition of three assistants who will join Habib Beye on the bench for the upcoming Olympico against Lyon.

According to RMC Sport, Sébastien Bichard, Yann Cavezza, and Olivier Saragaglia signed contracts with the club on Wednesday evening and have immediately joined the squad in Marbella for a pre-match training camp.

The three coaches were previously contracted to Stade Rennais, delaying their arrival at Marseille.

RMC Sport reports that the situation with the Breton club has now been resolved, allowing the assistants to take up their roles in time for Sunday’s Coupe de France fixture.

The new staff will work closely with Beye as the team prepares for a crucial run of fixtures, including the high-profile clash with Olympique Lyonnais.

Their arrival is intended to provide tactical support and bolster the coaching structure ahead of this pivotal period.

Marseille departed for Marbella earlier this week to complete preparations for the Olympico, aiming to improve performance and secure a victory after recent challenges.

The integration of Bichard, Cavezza, and Saragaglia is seen as a key part of the club’s efforts to regain momentum in domestic competitions.

With the full coaching team now in place, attention turns to Sunday’s match, where the combination of Beye and his expanded bench will be tested on one of Ligue 1’s biggest stages.
