Marseille consider Union SG midfielder Adem Zorgane

Algeria midfielder Adem Zorgane is the subject of a transfer rumour linking him with a move from Union SG to Marseille.

The 26-year-old central midfielder joined Union SG from fellow Belgian club Charleroi in July 2025 for €4.3m. He has a contract with the Belgian club until 30 June 2029, while his current market value is listed at €12m.

Zorgane has made one appearance in Champions League qualifying at the start of the 2026-27 campaign, receiving a red card, and also played the full 90 minutes in Union SG’s Belgian Super Cup victory. He has not featured in the Jupiler Pro League this season.

He was part of the Union SG side that won the Belgian Cup in 2026, adding to the club’s Super Cup success at the beginning of the current campaign. A move to Marseille would see the midfielder leave Belgium for Ligue 1, although the reported interest remains at rumour stage.

Zorgane previously spent four seasons at Charleroi after coming through Algeria’s Paradou academy, before joining Union SG last summer. His existing agreement means any potential transfer would involve a club-to-club deal rather than a free move.
