André Ayew has strongly denied claims that he received an offer from Serie A club Napoli, following a fabricated interview published by the Football411 website. The Olympique de Marseille midfielder took to Twitter to clarify the situation, stating that the interview, which suggested he was in talks with Napoli, was completely false.
“Football411.com published a fake interview with me. I have never given an interview to this website,” Ayew wrote in a tweet, refuting the report that had made waves earlier that morning.
The former Lorient player further emphasized that he had not received any offers from Napoli or any other clubs. “I am not aware of any offers from Naples or other clubs,” he added, putting an end to rumors about his future.
Ayew’s denial comes amid ongoing speculation regarding his potential departure from Marseille. Despite the rumors linking him with Napoli and other clubs, the Ghanaian international has made it clear that there is no truth to the reports, and that he is not considering a move at this time.
