Marouan Azarkan linked with Raja Casablanca move after leaving Al-Nasr

Moroccan-Dutch winger Marouan Azarkan, currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Raja Casablanca in Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi.

The 24-year-old right winger’s departure from Al-Nasr was recorded on 1 July 2026, leaving him available as Raja assess their options in attack. No transfer fee or contract terms have been reported in connection with the rumour.

Azarkan joined Al-Nasr from Utrecht in July 2024 in a move listed at €1m. He made 36 appearances in the UAE Pro League, scoring four goals and providing four assists during his time with the club.

Before moving to the United Arab Emirates, Azarkan spent a season with Utrecht after leaving Feyenoord. He made 47 Eredivisie appearances across his Dutch top-flight career, scoring three times and registering nine assists.

Born in Rotterdam, Azarkan developed through Feyenoord’s youth system and also spent time on loan at Excelsior and NAC Breda before establishing himself at senior level. He has also played in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, where he recorded 10 goals and eight assists in 39 appearances.

His potential move to Raja would represent a return to the Netherlands-born player’s country of nationality, Morocco, although the rumour remains unconfirmed. Azarkan’s current market value is listed at €900,000, and he remains without a club following his departure from Al-Nasr.
